Плохие вести, владельцы PC. Пришло время окончательно и бесповоротно вычеркнуть из графика предстоящих релизов PC-версию Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection. Коллекция классических файтингов, включающая Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2 и Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, все-таки не доберется до заповедных земель персональных компьютеров. Тому доказательством служит емкое сообщение на Twitter-страничке Эда Буна, креативного директора NetherRealm Studios, который на вопрос «Релиз Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection на PC отменен?» честно ответил: «Выход сборника на PC никогда не планировался».
Интересная меж тем сложилась ситуация. В официальном пресс-релизе, отправленном в путешествие по Сети в честь майского анонса Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection, компания Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment указала в качестве целевых платформ сборника золотую троицу – PC, PS3 и Xbox 360. Теперь же, когда Arcade Kollection успешно обосновалась на PSN и XBLA, выясняется, что PC-версия и не существовала вовсе. Мистика? Не-а, больше похоже на некомпетентность или возникшее недопонимание между главами студии NetherRealm и компании Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
