Как бы мы ни хотели хотя бы на время забыть о третьей по счету консоли от Microsoft, ни физически, ни морально мы этого сделать не можем. С каждой новой неделей Xbox «720» обрастает все новыми и новыми слухами, которые, к слову, начинают звучать все более и более убедительно. Но по-прежнему не подтверждаются официально. Что ж, на этот раз у руля встал французский сайт Xboxygen, утверждающий, что анонс консоли состоится уже в январе следующего года, с 10-го по 13-е число, на выставке Consumer Electronics Show 2012 в Лас-Вегасе.
Xboxygen со ссылкой на «личные связи» в стане Microsoft сообщил, что Xbox «720» создается на базе шестиядерного процессора с графическим чипом производства AMD и DDR3 RAM объемом 2 ГБ. Также ресурс утверждает, что работа над консолью началась еще в 2005-м году, сразу же после выхода в свет Xbox 360. Здесь же поясним, почему мы снова вернулись к численному обозначению. Все просто. Информаторы Xboxygen сообщили, что Loop – это всего лишь команда разработчиков, ответственных за софт, в то время как производством приставки занимается коллектив под названием Infinity.
Что касается Consumer Electronics Show 2012, ожидать громкого анонса от Microsoft не стоит. Компания, якобы, представит саму консоль, судя по всему, без демонстрации, и вкратце расскажет о ее возможностях. Скорее всего, все самое «вкусное» Microsoft прибережет для пресс-конференции в рамках выставки E3 2012, как и предполагалось ранее. Что ж, хочется верить. А то слухи, разгуливающие вокруг Xbox «720», уже порядком всем поднадоели.
